I was on PCGS Photograde earlier looking at Flying Eagle cents since one was posted for grading. The MS-61 example was clashed on the reverse.

I am aware of the clashes thanks to this site. My curiosity aroused I thought I'd try to determine which it was.

I believe it is the 1857 Seated quarter clash when compared to the example found on http://www.maddieclashes.com/1857-f...rter-dollar/

What do you think? Now if I could cherry pick an example that'd be cool.

Seems like it. If you look through their 3-Cent silvers as well there are quite a few showing verious die clashes. Although Die Clashes are fairly common on 3-Cent silver and much more so than of FE Cents.

That's a beauty of a FE Cent though, prices for them have exploded lately making me wish I'd picked up a Nice MS example when prices were low.
