My daughter and I were going through a box of half dollars and she pulled out this very toned 1972 D Kennedy half dollar. The colors are blue, rose, purple and orange. Do you think this coin is naturally toned or artifically toned? I saw that a toned 1973 D Kennedy sold for $288 and a toned 1976S Kennedy sold for $380 at a coin auction house. Do you think this coin has any value?

Yeh,me too. I think a NT would still show luster and your coin is kinda dull looking.

I bought a roll of AT cents once and figured they dipped them into soapy water and then held them over a candle. They look just like this half dollar. Blue and yellows. I guess I need to dig them out again and take a few images.
