Little success with these errors so far but this one stood out to me. The markers, mint location and features didn't show up on CC's, so I'm asking your opinions. Thanks for looking. I've added arrows (if your not sure what I'm looking at) towards what drew my attention. Thx.

The numbers do appear to be thicker than normal and the "5" and "9" are compelling. The "7", on it's own I might consider MD. Unfortunately a lot of people will focus on the "7" and forget the rest. Good Luck on identifying it.

The areas of question are so minimal and I apologize...it's not a collectable coin BUT doubles ELUDE me, lol. Here are two different Pics of the 7, lighting does obscure the break at the west upper leg, but it gives you a different look. See what you think...wild goose chase.

Note on the coppercoins notation of the arrows on the motto:
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds
Master die doubling.
Note the "7" on the date of this one:
http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds
They look that way that year.

Thanks coop. I saw that on CC, it's the layer/split at the north end that was attracting my attention. The 5 has the circular notch and the upper end of the nine, just like the 7, has the same layer and in the middle of the leg.
Anyway, not a big concern, must be an anomaly. Thx AMB

That link is for a RPM. The arrows on the site are should master die doubling, which is common for that year.

That is how we learn. We add to our knowledge by making wrong deductions. Not only you pick up on this, others who read this will learn as well.
