I love the 1886 series notes with the ornate backs. And thanks to hajduk for posting a Stanton note already today! Hopefully we'll have an unbroken string of consecutive types now that these tough first days are over with I'll be posting my educational single tomorrow ... still a nice gorgeous note, even though mine has seen better days! Let's see all those "History Instructing Youth" notes tomorrow! And for the record, I'm perfectly fine with some "1" coming between George and Martha! Report this Post to the Staff

I understand that this was a leftover note that was never actually issued since the bank closed, which is why it doesn't have a serial number or a signature.
