Oops! I just realized that I goofed up the title of today's note on the posting schedule ... Please forgive. Today's note is a 1923 $1 Unites States Note, or Legal Tender Note. However, IF you do have a 1923 red seal silver certificate, please post pics since none are supposed to exist

Neat experimental. Do you know what the experimental issued were testing? Ink, paper, printing process? I've never known, myself.

The experimental blocks were XB, YB, and ZB. The XB block consisted of 50% linen and 50% cotton. The YB block (one I posted above) consisted of 75% linen and 25% cotton. The experimental notes were issued to determine the best combo of linen and cotton for the paper.
