Is there such a thing? Every 21s morgan I have has a tiny s. Someone on ebay is selling one claiming its extremely rare. Is this true? Are they all small s's? Thanks

The mint apparently lost (or retired) the S punches for the Dollars and had to use one from a smaller denomination.

All the 1921-S Morgan have extremely small "S".

And so are the D's.
They are so small that it is quite difficult to tell if it is an O or a D to someone who isn't familiar with the series. I've seen a very knowledgable Korean dealer have a 1921-D which he incorrectly identified as a 1921-O up for sale. Had a good laugh.

I remember my second Morgan dollar. A slider '21-D. Ten year old me didn't see the D-mintmark until after I got home and grabbed my magnifying glass.
