I have some Buffalo nickels that are pretty worn down, plus having scratches on them. They are probably worth less than 1.00 each. I just received the 2015 Red Book, and the steel pennies are only worth around 30 cents each. I was thinking of just selling them to some company that takes coins as scrap. What's a good company for selling poor condition/virtually worthless coins?

I don't mean to be harsh or anything, just I don't see any reason to keep these low value coins.

if you are near a coin shop or a coin show, you probably would get a little more than selling to a scrap metal company.

The Red Book values are high. Buffs sell pretty easy even with no dates, people use them for jewelry.Try selling them on e-Bay as a lot.You could also give them to a young person to get them started in the hobby.
