South-African-2-Rand-Bad-Rotation

Here are two of my South African coins from my time there. (Actually I got the 2004 coin in Lesotho because I had to wait an extra day there because the border was closed due to taxi drivers with guns who weren't happy)

The 2004 10th anniversary of the end of apartheid and all that. And a 2007 2 rand coin (the only 2007 2 rand I got) but the rotation is off compared to all the other coins.

Welcome to south africa! Lol the 10 years of freedom is like a special edition nice coin, I had a lot of them but spend them not my cup of tea. Taxi violence always a issue here

Yeah, I felt safe in Lesotho but across the river, welllllll.... different story.

It was the only one I go of these, and I got a 1 rand from 2002 (my only 2002 coin) that was commemorating something or other.

You should check out your 2 rands see if there are any 2007 ones and what alignment they have. This could be normal for them or it could be quite odd, I have no idea/

Nope its not normal, the 2002 1 rand was g8 summit coin, you must get some ZAR coins 1892-1902 paul kruger, that is nice coins and sterling silver

I got it in Zim. They said I have to pay $30, I said I was supposed to pay $30.60 so they took my dollar and gave me 4 1 rand coins back. I guess it's worth paying a little extra.
