I really know next to nothing about coins, so excuse my ignorance! I have a 1983 quarter with a giant "S" on the front. Usual old quarter worn look...does anyone know if this is worth more than face value?

Thank you!

to CCF!
Can you post a picture? It sounds like you have a counterstamped quarter (worth face value) from your description.
