Hey everyone hope you are all doing well.

Just thought I would stop by and ask for some opinions of grade, value and general opinions on some coins I am interested in as well as something that has confused me for a while.

First the coins

Now the question. In terms of green on ancients I have seen it classified as anything from toning to verdigris through to PVC damage. Now my question is how do you distinguish between these different types?

BONUS ROUND (cause we all need a little fun)
Could you tell me if any of the coins posted above look like they have verdigris or PVC Damage? (On Alexander's hair line above the eye brow, first coin? You can zoom in using the browser)

Thank you all very much for your help it is appreciated

They are all very nice and I would give them pretty much the same grade of aVF (about very fine). Though with a little more cleaning on 1 and 2 the grade might be a little higher. I can't comment on there value haven't priced these types in some time. I don't see any signs of bronze disease on any of them, though coin #3 is slightly over cleaned IMO.

First two are nice and should clean up a little. I agree that the third one is over cleaned. I would wait for a better coin.

I was lucky with my shield and helmet, it was in very good condition:

My bow and club coins don't match the one in your pics.

As for the green, you can't always tell from pics whether the green is serious or not until you have it in hand. If it is powdery or flakey treat for BD as soon as possible.

There is loads of stuff if you google it. The main thing is to dig it out if you find it. You have to eliminate all visible traces even if it means hacking into the coin. Anything left inside will break out again some time down the road.

Yeah before I ventured into ancients I was more into Australian Predecimals (still collect but reduced a tad) and if you saw green it was best to stay away. By the way while I have this thread up here is a coin I have had my eye on for a few weeks and would value some opinions on it to.
