Hi everyone, I recently acquired this uncut sheet of 4 $1 notes, la banque du people from 1870. I am told these are unissued notes since they haven't been signed. They seem to be in great shape but I can't find the value for the notes. Can someone please shed some light? What is this uncut sheet worth? thanks very much

They look signed just like the one that was sold on Icollector? I guess I am a little confused as to why they would all have the same serial number as well?

Im not 100% but I would say they are not real..Looks like inserts they might have used in cereal

I've gotten them certified authentic by some reputable dealers...please don't say they aren't real if you are not certain or if there is no specific trait to make you believe so. Most notes from back then used this type of paper...
My main concern at this point is that I cannot find any information on them.
thanks

how did you do that? yes I got a good shot of the 20 because it is so much smaller.
I will do my best, perhaps when there's better daylight.

CoK , relax a bit my friend... The reason I said I dont think they are real is because they all have the same serial #..Do you not think its strange ? Secondly they used to put inserts of Money that looked extremely authentic in cereal boxes way back when... If they are legit then great find..If not then a great conversation piece...
Also if you are so sure then send them in to one of the services..You only stand to gain... As far as the dealers go did they not tell you to have them certified ? or make an offer ?

Notes like this don't have serial numbers. 12407 is not the serial number,it is the sheet number. The check letters appear above the second E in PEUPLE. The last two notes both appear to have the check letter D. Optical illusion due to unclear pics, or cereal numbers?
