I myself did have a Morgan silver dollar that was 1895-O that I did sell for $370, but what about you? What is the most expensive single coin (or coins or sets or what have you) that you have previously/currently own, both in price that you bought it for/could sell it for if you wanted to (if you know) and numismatic value (if you know)? Rules: 1) You have to have previously owned the numismatic material or currently own it and it can be slabbed or raw 2) Single coins welcome 3) a coin lot of related coins is welcome 4) though I personally do not have an interest for notes or bills, if you want to post those, that is also fine, but I like coins better 5) more than one post is FINE if you just got several expensive coins and not just one 6) any coin from any country is welcome, not just USA 7, and a biggie, but Time to show off to everyone just how deep your pockets are and how awesome of a collector you are! Let the madness ensue

Uh Oh. I sense a feeling of impending elitism on the way. My most expensive is a 2006 $50 gold buffalo. It was $800 at the time of purchase. This coin is AMAZING.

My most expensive coin (for now)... One of his friends, either the 1914-D or 1909-S VDB, will eventually unseat him.

Nice Lincoln Cent Jbuck. Most valuable due to gold content. Then there is some silver items. 1875 s/cc Trade dollar As for commemoratives The Antietam stands out. And for a circulating issue a 1919 s Walker

'90-CC Morgan, MS64, shot MS65, raw right now. https://goccf.com/t/183880It will carry $3k in insurance when I send it out to PCGS. MS64 = $1,500, MS65 = $6,000.

I have no idea of what is the most expensive coin I own. Since I purchased or found coins over 60 years, and I don't keep track of values, never sure. I would assume my #1 Mercury dime Album is up there if place of most expensive.

NumisRob- I love the Gothic Crown! I first saw one last year in an issue of Coin World. I did a search on ebay and found out how expensive it was. LOL.
