I have been looking to sell my fathers WW1 War Medals and have come across some old coins and was hoping that someone on this site may be able to give me a valuation on them.
There is a 1 Rupie 1907 coin, dirty but in good condition and what I believe is an very large old Penny dated 1858. This has a dent on the top rim and a Guernsey 8 Doubles which unfortunately has a large dent across it which is dated 1858.
There are many other pennies and sixpenses, etc., but I do not think these would be worth anything. Any help would be much appreciated.

One place to check is on ebay. Find about 10 coins similar to your coin and see what the final auction price is, then average them to find the price range for your coin. If there is any damage on the coin, then that reduces the value about 90%. Strong scratches across the coin, dent into the coin turn a coin into a cull coin. The better condition a coin is the better the price. Grading also figures in from circulation wear. But don't clean then as that lowers the grade a couple grades. Pictures are always helpful here. But please one coin per thread.

Hi Coop, thanks for your reply. In that case, the Doubles would be a "cull coin". I have uploaded pictures as suggested.
