Hey guys, I have a question for DD. I'm getting DD confused with MD, my question is with a DD the doubling will point towards the center of the coin right? MD will point to the rim of the coin in dates right? Any advise to a rookie you guys could give me and pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to all who do

A couple of key points to keep in mind when looking at any sort of doubling: MD will take away from the original device, such as making lettering appear thinner. A true DD will have the original devise plus more, like wider lettering. Also MD appears flat, whereas DD are on the same plain.

I search on average of 10,000 cents per week. It would be more than that if it was not for a job that ties up 55 hours a week. If your favorite is Lincoln cents, like me, study images on coppercoins.com. This help to familiar you with what to look for and what devises are usually affected.

My work schedule is 6 on 3 off. You can get a lot of searching done in 3 days.
