I haven't seen enough of these coins to compare, but yes it looks like ejection/machine doubling.

What software do you use ?
How long does it take ?

Pertinax, I use GIMP, a free program available online, and follow the instructions in this link by EyeEatWheaties: https://goccf.com/t/74327&whichpage=2

Now that I'm used to the process, it takes me less than a minute.

Because there is no notching at the ends of digits, and the "doubling" appears to cut into the size of the digits, rather than add width/spread as would a doubled die. It's my opinion of course.
