That azteca coin is amazing!

I agree! They started making them in 2007 with a mintage of only 333, then they made 1000 in 2008 and have been making 1500 per year ever since.

I picked this one up a few months back for only $1 over spot, probably because it doesn't have all of the original packaging (which included a COA, a collector's booklet and even a jeweler's loop all in a custom round wooden box).

How about hinnest coin and thickest coin at some point too?

That would be hard for anyone collecting non-moderns[1] - a lot of medieval and post-medieval coins were really thin, and this side of very good calipers you'd probably be unable to know which one is thinnest precisely (at best you'd get a lot of readings in the 0.2-0.4 millimeter range - 0.1 too if you have some bracteates or other very small medieval silver).

I suppose one could cheat by taking weight and size readings and trying to get thickness figures from that, but then you'd have to know the density/specific gravity, and with post-medieval small silver - the very type of coins most likely to be particularly thin - it isn't really possible either (as a lot of them are debased significantly, and the specific levels of debasement vary highly).

[1] by which I really mean anything before ca. 1800; actual ancient coins tended to be pretty thick, but once we get to silver pennies...

I can't see jbuck's links, so I can't say that anyone's done this combination yet: The largest and smallest coins struck for general circulation by the US Mint. Struck without a collar, the Draped Bust and Flowing Hair dollars come in anywhere from 39-40mm. From experience I can tell you they don't quite fit in a "dollar" sized 2x2. Took me a while to learn about the trick of putting it in an Airtite made for an ASE (which I got for free; thanks Forum Mom!)

I'm surprised no one has yet mentioned a 5 oz ATB? It's bullion, but since it has a face value, I'd say it counts.

Mine are an ASE (used my most recently purchased one as an example) and an 1897 Hong Kong 5 cents. I have some from other countries that are about as small but this one is my favorite because it's silver. LWC for scale.

My largest coin is Australian 2014 $10 copper coin celebrating 100 Victoria Cross medals. This coin is 57mm diameter. My smallest coin is Panama 1976 2 1/2 centesimos. The diameter of this coin is 10mm. Shown here with a Lincoln Cent for comparison...

I think TypeCoin's "coins" take the cake on this one.

I don't know, is that even "fair"?

Ya I think typecoins has it too, lol.

I don't have a pic of mine together so I'll bow out..

But I believe the type 1 Liberty head gold dollar is the smallest US coin made for general circulation, beating out the Three Cent Silver by a millimeter.. 13mm vs 14mm

Those and my single 1861 3c silver (metal rotation) would be my smallest US... I may have a couple foreign smaller (not as small as typecoins though, lol). And largest, like many, also probably an ASE, Philharmonic, Liberdad etc..
