Have a chance to pick up a couple coins .. if they are real

But just can't decide. I feel that they have a old cleaning/polish.

Made three attempts at getting pictures. The ones I am getting make the coins look much worse than they are.
I think I might need a new camera.

or .. they are fake

The coins do look better in hand.

Tough call for this non-expert. It has the right obverse and reverse features for the original token, but I wouldn't pick up subtle differences. I lean towards authentic, if only because it's an odd one to counterfeit, and it looks like it spent some time in a dirt nap before being dug and cleaned up.

Right off the bat, I don't like it. The face detail and reverse wreath (ONE CENT) diagnostically don't add up. It does have the pitting and darkness of a ground find but accelerated corrosion methods and Dellers could do that.

Looks ok to me. The corrosion is fairly rough though.

I'm with Vermontensium on this one. The weight seems very light, and the surfaces suggest it may have been cast. There are numerous copies of colonial pieces that date back into the 1960's, and this could well be one.

I spent some time around old coppers (large cents) and I don't like at all the combination of color, pitting and relatively good detail of the obverse bust and reverse wreath. It looks like an attempt to age a counterfeit.
