Regardless, if you notice the photos of the 31S posted by several people, you would realize that a 31S in great shape is normal. Like I said, many, many were hoaded in that condition back then. Even the superly overpriced Red Book shows that one in MS63 for $140 and at coin shows for much less. An 09S would have to be in at least VF20 to be worth that. Report this Post to the Staff

He showed me the Greysheet prices for F & they were $112 each. Based on the responses here, I decided to hold off on the 1931-S & go for a higher grade like a AU/MS. When I saw the 1909-S, it was F-VF; I think it was undergraded. My dealer told me he just paid $100 for it from another dealer.
