1919 Yunnan 50 Cash - Counterfeit?

Any opinions on this? This was given to me years ago by a friend, but there are a few details that just seem off to me when compared to other examples I've seen online...

- The bust (Tang Jiyao) appears to have a mustache

- The obv and rev portrait edging is inconsistent in spacing (the circles)

- Denticles are different

- Flowers on the obverse are different

- Reverse side flag on the left is different

- The 11 o'clock on the obverse has a bit of a nick and it does appear to be brass or copper.

- Other details here and there as well

Dare to say that this might be a counterfeit? Variety? I'm just not versed in Chinese coinage. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it's not genuine. Your analysis is spot on.

Rather surprising as this is a rather inexpensive coin which you can obtain at around 30 dollars in F condition. More in VF+ condition.
