I have a lot of GSA hoards I want to sell and was looking up value on Numismedia but I need non CC's as well. Where can I find prices on these?

The non-CC coins that remain in the GSA as-issued holders can carry a very significant premium. I do not know of a specific price guide that reflects this, however.

Your best bet is to search post auction results at heritage.com and watch active ebay listings for similar items to see how they do.

Another thing to do is go to a coin show and try to buy some GSA non-CC dollars and see what dealers have to sell. A lot of time you'll hear "I don't have any, I wished I could buy some". That might open the door to some conversation about values.

Many common date GSA non-CC dollars have been sold by uninformed sellers at "common date" prices over the years. Continue to do your homework and don't be in a rush to sell.

You can also post some pics of your GSA coins here and the boardies can help with values.

Thanks westernsky! I am selling on ebay and have been checking there but the prices fluctuate so much. I have NGC graded hoards but when I go to NGC no value is made known, just validating it's a legit certification. I wish I could help add to your collection as I am selling quite a bit from an inherited collection but I posted a question yesterday about selling on here and I haven't met criteria to sell here because of my few posts and it needs to be quality. I have all questions for the most part. I'm sure admin wouldn't consider those "quality".

I don't think ebay is the right venue for non-CC GSA's. They're uncommon and desirable, but more of a niche-market thing to numismatists and not necessarily an object of lust for the average eBayer.

SsuperDdave- I'm figuring that out but I can't get anyone to guide me, give me answers as to where I can sell online. I can't here because I haven't met the criteria. I can't even get anyone to type a numerical number of an approximate value. I get great descriptive adjectives about how desired and valuable some are but still, nothing concrete. Is it because the numismatic value varies on the buyer?

It's because there aren't enough of them to form a database of pricing. It's like the 1885-O GSA you mention in your other thread - Heritage has only handled two of them since 1990. That's not much to base a price idea on.

You can always put one or two on ebay, list them with a stupid money Buy It Now price and consider "Best Offers".

To get the best idea of value you have to put them in front of as many potential buyers as possible.

Here's one: Coin World mag has prices for non cc gsa in mint state grades. Mostly lower mint state but they ARE there. I wish I could buy at said listed prices as do most so I would bump it up times 2 on some coins depending on grade\eye appeal etc etc. Hope that helps
