This could be the first silver variety I've found. Seems to have a strong spread to the east, but only the bottom portion is left from where the mint workers tried to correct themselves.    I had to use weird lighting for the full view because of the luster. The black spot is nasty looking toning.

First let me say great close up picture, Wish I could get mine that good, with that said all I can see is a normal MM that took a hit at the base.

I can see that hit, but I'm talking about the little sliver of metal out in the open between the MM and the torch. I'll edit another photo real quick to point it out.

It might be a die gouge. If it were a RPM the full curve would show. That is not the case. Sorry

At first I thought you were talking about the lower serif.

Still the same. If the lower serif showed a stronger line/separation, it would still be a minor. But it would have been more interesting. (At that point I would have saved it.) Here is one I saved because if had the splits on the serifs.  Someday I hope to find this one listed, but if not, I will still keep it.
