Can someone tell me where I can find a Graysheet? Or if you have you can you tell me what 1909s VDB cent coins go for by the Graysheet (in all grades)?
Thanks,
Arthrene

It's the Coin Dealer Newsletter
http://www.greysheet.com

They sell single issues, but it is a little difficult to figure out which one you need.

I subscribe to it. I have to run to work in a second, but I'll post prices when I get home if someone else hasn't already. BUT, if you go to the Heritage Coin website here http://coins.ha.com/default.php you can look at the most recent closed auction prices and get very accurate information on market value. When comparing prices make sure you pay attention to the grade, who graded it AND eye appeal. Not all coins of the same grade are the same. This is especially true with copper coins.

Edit: On the Heritage Auction website you have to make an account (it's free) in order to view closed auction prices. It's also very search friendly.

arthrene,

You can usually pick up old issues that are a month or two old on ebay for a few $$ or if you kindly ask your local dealer, I am certain he/she may have an old issue to give at no cost. They will give you a fairly accurate guide.

Edit: Like trooper mentioned, HA is good resource. If you don't like sifting through all the closed auctions, I recommend just using their condensed price guide. It is a synthesis of NumisMedia, closed auctions realized...etc and gives a relatively accurate FMV for most dates and series.

One more thing, you can walk into any coin dealer and ask to look at theirs.

A local dealer here always has old greysheets for 50 cents apiece at a monthly coin show. Some are only a week old, so I buy a copy every time I'm there. Check around.
