Hi chequer, nice coin..

Yes.. It looks like a AG3 to me and it also looks like a D mint mark.

AG details. There is a Denver mintmark.

I like the coin too. The colour is nicer than the photos. What would the low ball for this year be (how do you look them up)?

I agree with Bad Thad that it is poorly struck. But I don't think it is that highly worn. I think that if it had a normal strike it would grade somewhere between VF35 and XF40. That being said, I have no idea of what it would grade at with a TPG.

I do know that I have sorted over a half million Wheats in the last year and a half and now have 4 rolls of 1920 D's. These are very typically struck as you see in your coin. The wear on 1919's and 1921's are completely different from 1920 D's. Even the 1919 D's don't look that bad. The closest would be the 22 D with "Weak" D's.

For an AG3, the face of Lincoln would be completely worn. But on this coin you can clearly see the eye, ear, and curls in his hair. I would give this weak strike a VF-30.

I guess I need to get a little more familiar with this series. Anything from AG to EF with a weak strike. Thanks for your thoughts.
