1811/09 was the second year of issue for the newly designed capped bust dime and is a fairly scarce date in the series. I believe the same obverse die was used as for the first issue struck in 1809.
Only one die variety is known, JR-1. 1811/09 dimes come with varying degrees of reverse die breaks. In the more advanced states, the breaks spread in various directions across the reverse and are quite pronounced.
This particular example must have been struck early in the life of the die, as the breaks are only lightly visible.
