On one side an head and the other side an Bull and two O O below the bull? They all look the same to me haha. Pretty old coins though. How did you clean it? or bought it that way? I am soaking them now in water. Maybe I am gonna buy distilled water ... pishpash Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 3626 Posts	Posted 09/07/2014 08:55 am Hi Vince If you are soaking it in tap water, take it out and dry it and wait until you have DW. I didn't clean my coin, there is very little in the way of patina and it could not have been improved. Report this Post to the Staff

pishpash Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 3626 Posts	Posted 09/07/2014 09:14 am No, normal water is impure and has minerals which may not be good for the coin. DW has no minerals, when you soak coins in DW, minerals from the coin leach into the DW, which is why you have to change it on a regular basis. Report this Post to the Staff
Ancientnoob Pillar of the Community United States 5155 Posts	Posted 09/07/2014 12:36 pm DI water would have little effect on the coin at this point. I would hit it with a soft bristle brush and then invest in some VerdiCare. Soak it for a few hours and wha-lah. Report this Post to the Staff
