here is a 1981P.i know the images (especially the reverse) are a bit blurry. I just thought that before I take a lot of time - trying for better images, and then finding out its just a damaged coin - that I would post these images first, and ask.

if anyone thinks this is anything other than a damaged coin - I will try for better images - later.

the lack of rim makes me want to say it's just damage/wear IMO

with all of the above plus, on the reverse, I see the outline of President Lincoln from the obverse. I believe this phenomenon is called "Ghosting".
