Hadn't seen one of these for a long while. Too bad it wasn't filled with $4 (face value) of 90% silver quarters. It actually appears to never been used, although it shows a small amount of wear and tear to its exterior.

The National Shawmut Bank of Boston was absorbed by Fleet back in the mid-1990's. The Indian logo is a depiction of Obbatinewat, who was a 17th century Wampanoag chief.

Savings cards like these were common back in the 1950's and 60's. (This had a copyrght date on it at the lower left but it looks like damage has wiped out the date.) If it was from the early 60's and you were able to sock away a quarter each day you could save $91 ayear. That would have the purchasing power of close to $1000 today.

Fond memories!
Greeting card companies also put out cards with "pockets" to be given to a kid.
Birthdays mostly.
Filled, of course!
My favorite kind of card to receive.
