I spoke with the ANACS rep at PNNA in Portland on Saturday and she was going to discuss this with the VP she reports to. Nothing back from her yet.

ANACS really needs to get their act together on building a new and better website, the old one has a lot of issues beyond just the cert database being down. Poor formatting that barely if at all works on many different browsers. Content not updated very often, ugly design. You'd think that in this day and age of Internet pretense they would be a lot more mindful of their online appearance.

I called them yesterday to attempt to get a manual certification verification, and the lady that answered the phone told me they are building a whole new website. We shall see.

Starting to wonder how long before they get kicked off the 'bay... being able to verify certs was the key requirement that kept several others from the approved list.
Also disappointed because the rep I spoke with was going to look into it and get back to me... this was weeks ago at PNNA.

Quote: they are building a whole new website. I've heard that since 2008, we will see indeed.

Apparently ANACS just lost a lawsuit. Looks like it might be a while longer.

Just checked again, and it looks like the ANACS cert. verif. is up and running. You also get the pop. report which is pretty cool.

Doesn't work for me, being trying to verify a coin I just got from heritage. I will make sure to avoid ANACS in the future.

It's worked fine for me the last few days. Try cleaning out your Browser cache or another browser.
