It's been a long while since I posted regularly but I could have swore there were threads for posting roll finds for both nickels and cents but I couldn't find them.

After being blanked on a box of nickels (only a few pre-1960s kept) I grabbed a couple boxes of cents and another nickel.

17 total wheats
36, 37, 42, 49d, 44, 44s, 44d, 50s, 51s, 51d(2), 53s, 53d(2), 56d(2), 58d

A nickel from Bermuda
1 Nickel and 6 cents Canadian

42s Silver War Nickel - second to last roll whew.

My first Liberty nickel!
I'm guessing the date is just some damage that's been hidden by 100+ years wear but could it have been a Struck Through Grease?

..and then I found this guy. My second counter-stamped roll find. Couldn't find anything about the wagon stamp except a yahoo question and it unfortunately had no answer.
I don't think I'd ever buy one of these, but they are fun to find in the wild.

rdlem - the forum you were looking for is for Coin Roll Hunting. I'm sure a moderator will move this thread there and you'll receive an email notification (link).

Fun finds! Too bad the date is a bit of a mystery on the V nickel but still an exciting find!

That's a great find! It looks like a 1901, but I'm not sure.

It's a little odd how the last digit is worn away but the rest of the date is very easy to read. Still a cool find though. I have yet to find a V nickel.

Ah yes, thank you. If only I would have thought about it a bit more I would have checked my old posts.

@wheatchaser140 ya I keep thinking I see the ghost of a zero.
