Coin Stores In Berlin? - Coin Community Forum

Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 09/18/2014 9:49 pm I have a friend who will be staying near the Berlin Zoo in Germany for the next week. He asked if I knew of any coin stores there. I don't. If anyone has any experience with coin stores in that are I would appreciate any information that you could share. My friend is not a serious collector(yet). He has bought a few coins and has expressed some interest in starting to acquire some gold. Thanks for any information you can share. Pertinax Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2133 Posts	Posted 09/19/2014 06:07 am Buddy, There is a really good coin shop with a very friendly and knowledgeable owner in Rheinstrasse, 12161 Berlin. It's at about number 25, I think. I don't think he's there every day so it might need a visit to find out when he's open. The nearest station (I think) is Walther-Schreiber-Platz. I think he only sells coins minted after 1700, however I've had lots of great bargains from him. He also sells old postcards. Report this Post to the Staff

He's there for a convention and I'm sure that he could ask for directions at his hotel or from someone he meets at the convention.
