I have a friend who will be staying near the Berlin Zoo in Germany for the next week. He asked if I knew of any coin stores there. I don't.

If anyone has any experience with coin stores in that are I would appreciate any information that you could share.

My friend is not a serious collector(yet). He has bought a few coins and has expressed some interest in starting to acquire some gold.

Thanks for any information you can share.

Buddy,
There is a really good coin shop with a very friendly and knowledgeable owner in Rheinstrasse, 12161 Berlin. It's at about number 25, I think.

I don't think he's there every day so it might need a visit to find out when he's open.

The nearest station (I think) is Walther-Schreiber-Platz.

I think he only sells coins minted after 1700, however I've had lots of great bargains from him. He also sells old postcards.

Thanks a lot. I'll send a text message to my friend and let him know.

He's there for a convention and I'm sure that he could ask for directions at his hotel or from someone he meets at the convention. It's nice to know of a shop where he is likely to find some interesting coins.

Thanks again.
