I was wondering if the 5 cent 1965 nickel had 3 different size beads the same as the dollar. Here are some scans of the three different ones.

Certainly need better pics.. I only know of 2 bead sizes for the nickel don't forget as the die wears down things may appear to look different.

Pennyman007, on closer examination I think there is only 2 varieties as I tried different angles and you are bang on.

there is a 1965 LB where the one of the dots can point inside the H and a SB (Small Beads) where the bead points outside the H. I do not know of more than two.

Did the Large Beads come from certain sets? Or were these circulation coins?

I've been never able to find one!
