I've been getting at least one email a day from the mint. It's been some featured coin of the day the past few days and before that it was the top 20 best selling coins. I've unsubscribed but I still get the emails. I'm really only interested in the monthly release email and my MC newsletter, both of which I have only gotten once in the past four months. Anyone else having this problem with the excessive emails and the lack of MC newsletters? Granted my spending had declined significantly the past few months and I never had a rep but I'm still in good standing as a MC member.

Sounds like I'm getting the same amount of emails as you. I just delete them without looking at them. A lot do go to spam. The email I use is one that is set up for "promotions" or signing up for stuff, so it doesn't bother me when I get junk.

I'd like them to cut down on the frequency of emails, they're really excessive, and I love Canadian coins. I guess one thing about it even more than the emails is that they produce, in my opinion, an excessive number of overpriced coins. Maybe I'm a bit uneducated as I've never seen a colored coin, but it seems that at least half the offerings are loaded with crystals, colors, holograms, glass and whatnot. Do these "special treatment" coins look decent?

They go to my promotions folder so it doesn't bother me to be sincere.

I even saw a TV ad for the 20 for 20 kid jumping off the dock the other day, it was a first for me. I too am getting the daily e-mails, smacks of desperation.

For that exact reason a few months back I unsubscribed and just check the website. It seems they never learn...Too much of a good thing and all that.

Wow I guess I'm fortunate that every time I've signed up for the emails I never get them. I don't even get any MC notices. I get all my info from this forum and RDF. I'm drowning in ebay emails, and it's time consuming to delete even without reading. After reading these responses I'm glad I don't get them.

I find I don't get enough. Maybe 1 a week. I wish I got letters in the mail. It would be more exciting. And yes more money.

It seems that each month there are more and more emails being automatically sent. Most have to be fished out the junk folder, which I in turn delete anyways. Even when I entered the Mint contest and gave them an alternative email address saying I was not interested in notifications, they still seemed to show up anyways. The marketing arm at the circle M ranch sure has been building muscles lately. They must have a lot of product sitting around. Would be great if they dropped their prices to match the downturn in precious metal like the U.S. Mint did or have a 20% off sale.

Not surprising there are so many RCM emails considering so few coins, aside from the Superman coins, selling out. The RCM is pumping out insane amounts of coins each month. The Mint is about to release the October coins in a few days. I am not buying a single one.
