Hey folks. First post here. Need some help.

While posting pics for the tone Morgan thread in classics, I noticed die cracks in three of the girls I had never noticed before. One was identified as 1886 VNA-1( Thanks again Dave700x) and I am now working on figuring out the other two.

I looked through the 1887s and I THINK this may be a 1-C. What do you guys think?

On the obverse, 2 is pointing to the clash. On the reverse, 1 points to the opposite of the clash, barely discernible in the pic. It also has the die crack running through the wing tip from D to S, but not visible in the photo.

Aha! Thats it! This is why I asked. LOL The description threw me off and I never looked at that one. What are they talking about when they say 7 in the denticles? And I surely dont see doubling in the stars. But that could just be me missing it.

Back up to VAM-13 for specifics on the doubled stars and the date digit in the denticles. They can be tough to pick up without serious magnification.
