Not a Canadian specialist but I believe these are both short water line varieties but could use the help of more experience Canadian collectors.

IMHO-
The 50 is not (only one line needs to be close to touching to make it a FWL.)
The 51 is definitely a SWL.
That being said, the 50 has a SWL at the rear of the canoe
which is a different variety than if it was at the front.
