I'm on board with 5A if the letter transfer is still present. I cannot tell from the obverse photos.

I think it would grade MS-63. The coin seems to have some prooflike qualities and may have a good shot at PL.

I totally overlooked the wing scratch. I didn't see the roughness below the date, or necessarily enough at the wingtips, which is why I decided against V5. The wing scratch - and the gouge in the eagle's mouth - is definitive, though.

So I stand corrected. 5A it is, and I'll slow down a bit in the future.

As if I could slow down.

A solid MS63 with a good chance of a MS64 grade if not at least a star or plus at NGC/PCGS at MS63.
