The city bought all of the businesses on a busy corner in our city and the last post I did was from the area where they tore down the first building. I found a
Mercury dime from the 40's, a 1903 indian head, and a wheatie. The next building that came down and scraped happened last week so I was able to make it there Sunday morning. I found 3 Wheaties all from the 50's and the brass from a shotgun shell marked Peters-Norton that I found out by Google search was a shotgun shell sold in the 50's prior to Remington buying them out. There are 2 more old buildings to be torn down and they are old banks. Hopefully there will be some decent finds there. I will post the finds.
