I have been gradually working on a collection of slabbed MS-66 Jeffersons, focusing on white coins. The 1950-D has been problematic. Virtually all the coins I have seen have significant toning, often in the "pewter" range of coloring.

Is it me, or is this coin that* hard to find white?

I have a uncirclated 50D nickle, but it is not a full steps strike. I have seen several 50d`s that dont have full steps. Just weak strikes I presume.
