Good things come to those who work hard and if it is something you really love, it's not really work. My roommate says this also - he has his dream job, in fact wonders why they pay him so much to do stuff he would do for free. He is really good at what he does, (microchip design).
I'm in a quandary about what to do when I grow up, have been all my life.
Though I've had some great experiences over the years, right now I'm stuck in a dead end job, and probably the worst situation I've ever been in financially. 
I will bounce back however.
Coin collecting keeps me sane.
