Another zero-feedback thief. What a surprise. Now that they can operate with impunity, they're coming out of the woodwork.

I think it needs to be certified for a BIN over $2500.

I really think the shipping cost at $2.32 cents is a bit HIGH for a "Buy It Now" of $4,000! ha

I've been reporting many coins each day, and after more than a week, obvious counterfeit coins still remain up for auction on ebay, I really am starting to think they just don't care anymore, as long as they get their fees, they figure only a handful of buyers will make claims anyways and their profit line stays on the upswing. Sad day for the ebay buyer and honest ebay sellers when they decided to dump the peer reviewed reporting system.

You're absolutely correct. ebay has formally abdicated their responsibility to protect their buyers from (literal) felons breaking Federal law to sell counterfeits with deliberate intent to defraud.

There is a coins and coin accessories site that is similar to the ebay format... it's USA Coin Book. It's a pretty nice site and there are some wondeful sellers there. As with any other online sales place be careful. I have puchased over 100 very legitimate, excellent coins. I've also sold coins on the site. I had one non-payer and another very obvious scam artist who wanted me to mail him $2500 in coins because he was 'going to send me' payment on his wife's PayPal account.
