Right off I can think of the balboa, the bolivars, and the sucre as denominations named after people, any others that do or have existed?

Quote: denominations named after people, any others that do or have existed The only other one I can think off right now which might fit that category is the Krugerrand. Postscript: While I walked the dog I remembered, there is a precedent for the naming of the Krugerrand namely the Louis d'or. But not to waste a post let me also post another coin for the day: 1/8 Birr EE1887A Empire of Ethiopia KM[CE]#2 (Dated in the Ethiopian Era which started in AD8, so it's from 1894)

Seems you have a varied collection 'Anwyll Rwden' - trying to collect circulation coins from all countries? Here another variant to the name Cent which in the end just means 1/100th: 50 Centesimi 1898R San Marino, KM[CE]#2
