You'll never be able to sell anything below MS66 if you keep taking photos like that. Folks will think you're selling AU when it's a MS65 coin in hand....
In other words, fantastic shots. I agree with the rest, something about that last 1921 really turned out good!!

Your modesty is unwarranted. I may be more experienced in the post-processing aspect, but you've arrived as far as photography goes. Perhaps you could play with the single-light setup on that 1882 - I'm thinking you might find something interesting by bringing the light a little closer to vertical on the coin. When you do, set your first shot with 1 step faster exposure or 1 stop tighter aperture; the coin will be brighter than it was in these shots. What did you light the 1921 with?

Oh, yeah - if you haven't bought the 500D lens yet, don't waste your money. You don't need it.

All these shots are with two 20something watt daylight bulbs . I'm using the remote capture from my computer so it doesn't tell me what my aperture and exposure are at, it just shows what the exposure compensation is. None of these pictures are edited at all. PS I havent bought the lens, probably wont though.

Is that Zoombrowser, Zach? I've never actually gotten it working in one of my systems, and I'm curious as to what it looks like.

Im using a tripod and shooting about three feet away using all of my optical zoom, thats the only to get good lighting and large shots. Ive got 2 lights one at about 10 oclock and one at 5 oclock.
Yea thats the Zoombrowser EX Remote Shooting. This is the first time ive used it, and it works pretty good.

You're getting results like this from 3 feet using the zoom?
That, my friend, is one heckuva camera. If it supported RAW I'd sell my XT and buy one.

Wow! 3 feet! What kind of zoom does your camera? Your using optical zoom? Wouldn't optical zoom actually distort the picture?
