I used my new (to me) copy stand. I centered the camera to the coin and used a bubble level
to make sure the camera was parallel to the coin. I placed one light at about 30 degrees at 9 O'clock.
It left a shadow to the right of the coin. that's why the black background.
I will try some silver type coins tomorrow. I am also going to try some different lighting.
