This group has been great in providing ID's for some difficult coin finds in the past, and hoping to repeat on this one. Thanks in advance!

The coin was found in the UK earlier this week. Something about it looks early British/India to me, but I can't find it.

If this is made of lead, and was found in the UK - a rummage around this page may prove fruitful,

Would support the view that it is likely (British-) Indian with a date of 17xx and a good chance that it could be from the Bombay-Presidency.

The coins of Bombay have mostly the East India Company at the back side.
