ath459 New Member United States 32 Posts	Posted 10/06/2014 9:30 pm So, is it just me or do those clear rolls completely ruin the joy or roll hunting? I mean, particularly with dimes and quarters. If you have a good eye, you don't even need to break the roll - you can just look to see if there are any coins with a uniform silver diameter. At that point is it even worth it anymore? I mean really, I can get 100 worth of dimes and have them all checked in 5 minutes. Its particularly frustrating when the bank teller continuously tells me "We aint' got no halfs" while she's munching on the left overs of her lunch. I'm not bitter, I just can't escape these clear rolls. Maybe nickels are my only choice. Report this Post to the Staff

When I was a teller years ago I could go through a box of quarters or dimes in about 5 mins. If you look closely enough you can usually spot War Nickels by edge searching too but it is tougher Report this Post to the Staff

I never really had to buy any boxes; I just checked all the deliveries at work (retail store). When I actually ordered them, I didn't like the plastic wrappers because you couldn't reuse them, and had to buy paper wrappers to bring them back to the bank/work. Report this Post to the Staff
