Is there a place I can find pricing. I checked on coinsandcanada.com but I think the pricing there may be a bit high

The pricing at Coinsandcanada.com are a fair bit lower on a lot of items compared to the Charlton. It does help to provide a clearer perspective when you have access to both references, but expect the lower price.

Whitman's also published a current catalogue, authored by Dr. Haxby.
Both (Whitman's and Charlton's) are excellent tools.

Several other specific studies on certain series have been done.

check ebay completed listings. This will give you the current market value that coins and tokens are ACTUALLY selling for.

bill be careful what you ask for or perhaps you should be more explicit on your request... I was pretty tempted to put up a shot of me in my man-kini

midross: that is a fantastic idea.. I totally agree with.. if you want to see what an item is selling for.. check the completed listings..

What, no man-kini pictures , we all thank you for that.
Nice tokens , judging from the pictures they look to be average grades and
are quite common . Does the 1854 (plain 4) have a nice die crack
on it around 7 o'clock ?

If you cross reference tokens on ebay with this retailer, you will find that some sellers want too much on ebay, and some buyers pay too much for low grade coins. You can also find some deals on ebay given patience. (that kind of sounds like common sense for any comparison between ebay and any retailer, but I've found this site to be a good guide and counterbalance to ebay pricing)

Otherwise, I've found few retailers online at least that attempt to categorize tokens like the one above.
