Motorcyclists call them a free meal. Seriously though there is not a chance that they are releasing a copy of the LB, or that they found some LBs or a collection glass coins that include the LB. If they did that, they might as well issue a remint of the 1948 SD and then turn off the lights at 320 Sussex Drive. In this case, I think the lady bug is a red herring. It's fun to speculate though.

The BoC hoard coin took FOUR months to arrive for me, and was a baggy mess. I got completely hosed by that one.

Maybe it is the missing/melted 1921 silver coins :), or some other stash in the back of the vault that was recently found.

Quote: The set of glass creatures - good idea. Re-mint of the NCLT? Why collectors should care. Nothing serious, more people will want it. I am hoping you are being sarcastic here

Quote: I am hoping you are being sarcastic here Half and half... because, when I think more deeply (?) I understand, that the so called "hot" Glass Butterfly have no significance at all. Just limited mintage gimmick coin. Not commemorative, not scarce . If we'll use the expression "serious collector", will this collector be care about additional quantity of GB? I doubt. Care only collectors, who collect the items that theoretically holds the value.

Maybe it's a solar ladybug coin! You put it in the sun, and the ladybug moves or lights up or glows in the dark. Anyways, my guess is that it has something to do with solar.... Maybe a solar eclipse coin? But that event happens on October 23rd..

Usually, the Mint doesn't introduce the new coin / series between the release.
There is a special reason for this, and I think, it could be on of the below:
**some commemorative set, that fits the period; **commemorative set, that repeats the pattern of older coins; **using the picture, that they sent, and "collection", I can try and guess, that it could be the set of the glass creatures (leftovers maybe), that placed on some small silver round / coin.
In any way, not supposed to be single coin or subscription, but the set as single product and I feel, it will be pricey.
Might be less from the coins, due to over-saturation, but I still excited from the expectation.

This new "first of its kind" series may not even be related to bugs. Perhaps the RCM put that picture of the ladybug in their ad as a way to generate hype and to also remind people that this new "first of its kind" series may become as popular as the glass ladybug did back in 2011. I don't think it will have anything to do with glass this time around, seeing as the glass snowman just came out, it would be too early to release another set of glass coins.

Quote: any news on this front? Looks like today, the Elite MC will receive the mail. There additional possibility: The Mint speaks about collection, might be, that they decided to publish the 2015 collection in advance. Without some "special issues", but basically all the plan for 2015.

i have no idea what the coin or coins will be..But I can assure you it will be very pricey for the collection, if only the best customers are receiving the advance notice then it has to be expensive..just my 2 cents.
