During my several years reading CCF, there have been several threads discussing the best way to close our 2x2.
Personally, I prefer the non-adhesive 2x2; and I use a flat-clinch stapler, rather than any for of pliers.

So, I was surprized today to learn of the existence of a "Staple-Free Stapler".
It is described as costing $US10.

Here's a link to the article -

Question: has anyone on CCF tried it ?

I have not heard of this. Don't see it working on cardboard 2x2's.

Agree with that, up to 5 pages is specified in the article and the cardboard in the 2x2s might not be that easy to crimp.

I agree with both of you , I can't see it working on 2x2's, too thick.

Not going to work on 2x2. I can guarantee it.

I've seen something similar before. It only works on usual white paper and it's easy to pull it apart.

The one's I've seen cut a thin strip on three sides and then fold that at a 90 degree angle, leaving a weak mechanical hold that can easily be removed. Won't work on a 2x2.
