Some unfortunate rim nicks obverse and reverse, but nice, smooth surfaces. S-71. How would one grade this? *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

I think that's more obverse strike weakness.

I'd go along with the VF-35ish or somewhere about that. Where did you find that?

Thanks you everybody - this is a nice coin, in spite of the edge problems. If I didn't know better I would even say it has some original mint red peeking throughout here and there.

Yes, I do see a decent amount of original luster around the edges. Very cool. Congrats.

She is a looker! VF35 sounds good to me. Cool die cracks at the eye, through the Cap and LIBE, great color, and surfaces look fantastic. Breen has it listed as Dies 35-NN, Die Cuts at Eye / Triple Leaf at D. Very cool coin!

This coin exhibits details of an XF coin. A grade of XF40 environmental damage is not out of the question. The rim bumps don't bother me one bit. Nice clean surfaces with a hint of red...She's a beauty!
