I got it at a book sale on campus. A tad outdated, but it doesn't really matter because I got it for $2. I also got a 1979 Red Book for $2. I didn't find any Zoells but I'll go back tomorrow and try to find one.
How accurate is the price guide on this? Even though it's a 1996 edition the prices still seem horribly inflated...
I found a 2010 Haxby catalogue, in near mint condition (for $3 when the cover price is $14.95, but it is a secondhand book), misplaced in the Canadiana instead of Reference section. I've been meaning to ask this for some time since I found both types of catalogues in my library (but they're from different years), how do Charlton and Haxby catalogues differ? And why do people more often refer to Charltons?
I think the Haxby catalogue overprices certain coins of the recent years. Charlton, in contrary, focuses on the more collectible coins from the past. I could be wrong, but I think that the Carlton is a bit more conservative.
