Santa will most likely start things in a few weeks- Santa got burned last year in that a number of people did not receive the gifts they should have.
Santa even worked with admin to put together parcels to those who did not receive them but they are still sitting on his shelf due to Santa went into retirement over the Summer.

Each year they have a secret santa... I just joined last year about this time... so I didn't get in on it.. but basically you get someone's name and address and you send them a coin of a certain value..
What's news to me is that last year some people didn't receive their gift...which totally bites...
This year I will be part of it... I think it would be need to see what someone else has put into their collection at one point.

I read through the 30 odd pages Richard and for those who had their gifts received it looked great but what happened to all the no shows?
I hope it was just a snafu at the post office.
Fillurboots, I cantbfigure out how to copy and past with my tablet but search " secret Santa holiday exchange 2013" and you will be able to read the thread and figure it out.
Richard, I'm sure some blokes on here would be more then happy to help you.

Can someone please explain what this is all about?
secret Santa? Is this for Young collectors where "us Veterans" or old guys send a coin to a young collector?

47p7: I believe that anyone can join.. and it's like a "coin exchange"....
the person on "your list" may be young, old whatever... they're just a member on CCF.. you send them something... and they will send someone else something and on and on and on

I was one of the non-receivers last winter (never really found out why). Would be cool if I end up receiving two parcels this year.
Though they've moved the post office - it's no longer the easy half-mile walk it was before, and I won't be surprised if the post code will be different either.
